"The Tigers held a young Bulldog squad to only five points in the first half and cruised to the win," said coach Mark Torgerson. "The Tiger defense could take some of the credit and a cold shooting Bulldog team also contributed to the comfortable 24-5 lead at the half.

"The Tigers jumped out to an 11-0 lead before the Bulldogs got on the board and would allow only two field goals and a free throw in the entire half.

"Offensively, the Tigers got a pair of threes from guard Logan Manska and several inside baskets by Austin Dierks and Lincoln Berget to get off to a fast start."

Dierks collected nine of his team-high 13 points in the first half.

"The second half saw the Tigers maintain and actually increase their large halftime lead," added Torgerson. "As it would turn out, 11 different Tiger players would score in the second half as everyone on the roster would contribute in this one.

"Five three pointers by five different Tigers helped close the door on the Bulldogs as the Tiger defense continued to be stingy.

"The Bulldogs, who started four sophomores and a junior, would get no player in double figures for the game."

Guard Andrew Topp led the Bulldogs in scoring with eight points.

Dierks led the Tigers with a double double, grabbing 10 rebounds.

Logan Manska added 11 points.

"Tyler Henrichs continued his spark off the bench with nine points, joining starting post Lincoln Berget, who also chipped in nine points." The Tigers outrebounded the Bulldogs by a 34-16 margin. Berget grabbed eight boards.

"The Tigers again played unselfish basketball as they totaled 20 assists for the game."

Jacob Torgerson led the way with six assists, while fellow guard Chandler Erickson dished out five assists.

Erickson had a season high for any Tiger with six steals.

"The senior point guard led the defensive effort for his team."

The Tigers now face arch rival Benson this Friday night in a home contest.
