Evelyn Myrtle Koch, daughter of Oscar Rudolph and Matilda "Tillie" (Hegg) Koch, was born June 15, 1916 in Nora Township, Pope County, Minnesota. Evelyn grew up on the family farm in Nora Township, and was baptized and confirmed at Nora Lutheran Church by Reverend Quammen. She also received her education in the same area at the District 50 country school. After her schooling, Evelyn lived in Morris where she worked in the homes of Clifford Lee, Esther Kroening, Eleanor Gay and Henry Eidsvold.
Evelyn was a member of Nora Lutheran Church in her earlier years, and First Lutheran Church after making her home in Morris. She always loved the affection and companionship she received from her miniature poodle, Britta, and she truly enjoyed being in the community of Morris. She will also be remembered by Mabel as being the best sister that anyone has ever had.

She is survived by her sister, Mabel Koch of Morris; one cousin, Amanda Dohlen of Cyrus and her special friends, Jim & Ann Eidsvold of Alexandria and George & Joyce Kramer of Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jeanette Koch.
Pallbearers for the service are: Jim Eidsvold, George Kramer, Allan Saugstad, Donald Ritter and Gerard Dohlen. Deb Mahoney will serve as organist for the service, with special music provided by Jim & Ann Eidsvold. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
