First baby of 2013 born at SCMC
Morris, Minn. -- Matthew Francis Bretz, son of Julia Conroy and Joshua Bretz of Hancock, is the first baby born in 2013 at Stevens Community Medical Center.

Matthew arrived Monday, Jan. 14 at 7:58 a.m. At birth he weighed 9 pounds and was 21 inches in length.
Matthew is welcomed home by his sister, Margaret Anne.
As the first baby of 2013, Matthew and his family received several gifts from local businesses.
