The flags draped on the coffins of Stevens County veterans can now be housed in a place of honor. Morris-area veteran Ted Storck worked with Aaron Carlson Woodwork and Ace Hardware to make the wood and glass flag cases.

"Too often the flags get put in a drawer or a closet and they don't get displayed," Storck said.

The flags are available free to the families of all veterans, whether or not they belonged to a service club, said Storck.

Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris has the boxes available, Storck said.
