UMM Sports Information

The University of Minnesota, Morris tennis teams each dropped a match in its home opener against St. Scholastica on Sunday afternoon. The women's team lost 8-1, with Abby Fragodt picking up the lone win. The men fell 9-0 to the Saints. Fragodt, playing in the number one singles spot, came back after losing in the first set to win her match.

Minnesota Morris was only able to win six games against the Saints in the men's match. The women got good efforts from Christina Mollan, who lost a tough battle 6-3, 7-5. Fragodt and Kayla Kraemer lost 8-6 in a close doubles match.
