This freezing fog advisory is in effect through 9 a.m. Sunday from west central Minnesota through southeast Minnesota. This fog area in the region includes most counties located south of Interstate 94 and north of the Minnesota River.

Light winds, lingering low level moisture and periods of clear skies will lead to the development of freezing fog across the region tonight.

The fog is likely to freeze onto surface given expected low temperatures from around 5 to 10 above zero.

Travel could become hazardous where freezing fog occurs, particularly on untreated surfaces.
