Gildea, Stras lead judicial races

Late Tuesday night in the race for chief justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court, incumbent Lorie Skjerven Gildea had 49.76 percent of votes. Dan Griffith had 29.32 percent and Jill Clark had 20.92 percent. Two advance to the general election.
For the Supreme Court Justice 4 seat, incumbent David Stras led with 48.94 percent of votes, while Tim Tingelstad, 29.39 percent, and Alan Nelson, 21.67 percent, trailed.
