Girls' golf: Three from Morris advance to Section meet
Medalist Cassidy Hennen, along with Lily Erdal and Maddie Hennen, qualified at the Section 3AA-12 meet Wednesday to advance to the section final next week.
Cassidy Hennen's medalist round of 91 led Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta to a second-place team finish.
Lily Erdal carded a 103 and Maddie Hennen posted a 106. Shiori Legate also golfed for the Tigers, shooting 116.
Montevideo collected a 25-stroke win to advance as a team to the Section 3AA meet Thursday, May 31. The Thunder Hawks' top four scores -- paced by Kendyl Anderson's 94 -- tallied 391.
Jen Kack of Lac qui Parle Valley finished second to also qualify as an individual.
