Glasrud to lead state attorneys association
Stevens County Attorney Charles Glasrud was elected president of The Minnesota County Attorneys Association for 2010.
Glasrud was elected president at the association's annual meeting in Bloomington last week.
"I look forward to leading the association over the next 12 months," Glasrud said, "and to reviewing or implementing many of the suggestions and comments that we have heard from the membership in 2009.
Glasrud has served on the MCAA's Board of Directors for six years.
Rice County Attorney Paul Beaumaster will serve as vice president, Hennepin County Attorney Michael Freeman will serve as secretary, and Crow Wing County Attorney Donald F. Ryan will serve as treasurer.
The Minnesota Attorneys Association includes all 87 elected county attorneys and their assistants, with membership of about 200 attorneys
