Stevens County Attorney Charles Glasrud will be president of the Minnesota County Attorneys Association in 2010.
Glasrud was elected President-Elect of the association for 2009, meaning he will assume the presidency a year later.
Stearns County Attorney Janelle Kendall was elected President of the MCAA for 2009.
"It's an honor and a privilege to serve as MCAA president, and I look forward to continuing to build on the association's rich history of offering outstanding training and advocacy to the membership," Kendall said in a news release.
Rice County Attorney G. Paul Beaumaster was elected Secretary for 2009, and Hennepin County Attorney Michael Freeman was elected as MCAA Treasurer.
Glasrud has held the secretary and treasurer positions the last two years.
The MCAA is a professional organization for the state's elected county attorneys and about 700 assistant county attorneys.
