Gone with the wind

MORRIS, Minn. High winds knocked over a large tree on the boulevard in the 300 block of West 6th Street in Morris Friday afternoon.

West central Minnesota was in a wind advisory throughout the day, with strong southerly winds between 30 and 35 mph and higher gusts.

The tree missed the house and did only minor damage to a fence and the yard.

City crews had the tree removed within an hour.
