Hancock lost its seventh straight game since winning its season opener with a 61-36 loss to Wheaton/Herman-Norcross on Jan. 8. Taylor Holleman scored 11 points and had nine rebounds, and Jordan Miller had five points, four assist and three steals. Jerid Jepma had two three-points for six points and Justin MIller had four points, Collin Brown seven and Logan Kisgen three.

On Monday, Jan. 14, the boys traveled to Kerkhoven to take on the Kerkhoven Murdock Sunberg Saints. The Owls returned with a victory, 72-33. Taylor HOlleman scored 19 points and Jordan Miller and Collin Brown each scored 11. Holleman also had nine assists and seven rebounds.
