Hancock Girls improve to 7-0 with win over Ashby Arrows
The Hancock girls' basketball team defeated the Ashby Arrows on the road Tuesday night by a score of 52-18.

"I was pleased with the fact that we only had 10 turnovers on the night against the pressure defense shown by the Lady Arrows," said coach Jodi Holleman. "Aria Walstad and Illissa Koehl did an excellent job of handling the ball. Once again, it was great to have a balanced scoring attack."
As a team the Owls shot 20 for 46 (43 percent) which includes 5 for 11 (45 percent) from beyond the arc. They were also 7 for 9 (78 percent) from the free-throw line.
The Owls improve to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the Pheasant Conference. They will travel to KMS on Thursday, Dec. 30 for a scrimmage against KMS, YME, and Buffalo-Lake-Hector.
