Hancock Homecoming Candidate Interview -- What a time in 2009

How would you feel if you had won king or queen at your high school homecoming? I bet Breanna Holleman and Brendon Foss were pretty thrilled Monday, September 28.
Bree's first reaction to being nominated for the senior Homecoming Queen candidate was shock. Bree said "I was shocked, honored and excited." She is looking forward to a fun year and hoping a lot of memories will be made this year. State basketball and the bus rides to the games are Bree's favorite memories of high school. Bree is going to miss seeing all of her friends and under classmen each and every day. You can usually find Bree playing volleyball, basketball, participating in track or being involved in band, choir, the school play and the O Ambassadors committee. Her favorite class is Chemistry.
Brendon Foss's reaction to being nominated for senior candidate was "excited and honored." Brendon is looking forward to the sports, having a fun and memorable year and also spending time with family and friends. Brendon has too many favorite memories to choose from but he would have to say that they would all be from sports. Brendon is going to miss seeing friendly people every day and playing sports for the Hancock Owls. Brendon is involved in Football, basketball, baseball, band, choir and O Ambassadors. Brendon's favorite class is study hall.

Drew Schmidgall reacted to being nominated for the junior candidate thinking "that people think of me enough and like me." Drew is looking forward to all of the sports seasons this year. Drew's favorite high school memory would have to be playing football. Drew is going to miss all the sporting events and all of his friends next year. Drew is involved in football, baseball, basketball, band, choir, knowledge bowl and FFA. Drew's favorite class would have to be math.
Lindsie Cunningham's first reaction to being nominated for the junior candidate was" excited and it made me feel special." Lindsie is looking forward to having fun and enjoying her last year of high school. Her favorite school memory was state basketball in 2007. She is going to miss all of her friends most next year. Lindsie is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, FFA, and student council. Her favorite class is Geography.
Jake Ascheman reacted to being nominated for the freshmen candidate with "hmm... that's interesting." He is looking forward to graduating. His favorite high school memory was Sara and Mrs. Bergman. He is going to miss all of his friends next year. Jake is involved in Football, FFA, and student council. His favorite class is Shop with Mr. Steege.
Sara Nohl was "excited and surprise" to be nominated for the freshmen candidate. I wanted to make it a night to remember." She is looking forward to just having fun and enjoying it this year. Her favorite high school memory would be all the good times she has shared with her friends. She is going to miss her friends that she has been with since Kindergarten. Sara is involved in band, choir, student council, and FFA. Her favorite class is Mr. Swanson's math class.
Kaylee Voorhees' first reaction to being nominated for the freshmen candidate was "I was very surprised and excited." Kaylee is looking forward to being a senior and all of the fun things that, that involves. Her favorite high school memory was getting runner up at state in state basketball and all of the fun things with her friends. She is going to miss her friends the most next year. Kaylee is involved in basketball, track, FFA, band and choir. Her favorite class is history.
Cory Schroeder's first reaction to being nominated for the freshmen candidate was "I was surprised and honored that people think of me that much." He is looking forward to just having fun with friends and making the most of it before it all goes away. Cory's favorite memories would have to be all the stuff him and his friends have done. Cory is going to miss being with his friends everyday and being able to play sports. Cory is involved in football, basketball, baseball, band, choir and FFA. Cory's favorite class is shop.
