In the top of the first the Owls scored four runs to start off hot, C-A comes back in the bottom of the first scoring two runs making the score 4-2. Top of the second the Owls score five more runs and C-A comes up scoreless putting the score at 9-2. The Owls score another five runs in the top of the third with the Spartans scoring two more runs giving the Owls a 14-4 lead.

In the top of the fourth the Owls went scoreless and the Spartans scored two more runs to make the score 14-6. Top of the fifth the Owls score five more runs and hold the Spartans scoreless again. The Owls lead 19-6 with two innings left to play. The Owls score three more runs in the top of the sixth and the Spartans scored one in the bottom. The score at this point is 22-7 with one inning to play. To end the game the Owls score two more runs in the top of the sventh and the Spartans came up with one more run ending the game in the bottom of the inning with a final score of 24-8.

Leading the Owls offensively were Brendan Jensen, Philip Schaefer, Ross Ascheman, Austin Anderson and Evan Nelson each having two hits a piece. Jerrid Berning picked up the win pitching two innings and striking out three Spartans.

The Owls took the lead in the bottom of the first with Patrick Koehl leading off with a walk and stole second base and with two outs Taylor Holleman had an RBI single scoring Koehl. Owls lead 1-0 after the inning. In the top of the second, Hillcrest scores two runs and the Owls end the inning scoring one run. With one out Brendan Jensen hit a single advancing to second and third on a passed ball and eventually scoring on a balk by the Hillcrest pitcher tying the game 2-2 after the second inning.

The third inning came up scoreless for both teams. To start the top of the fourth Hillcrest scores two runs giving them the lead 4-2 going to the last inning. In the bottom of the fourth, the Owls rally for three more runs. With one out Jerrid Jepma advanced on a single and advanced to second on a passed ball followed by Anthony Koehl reaching on an error scoring Jerrid Jepma and Koehl advancing to second. Still with one out, Patrick Koehl hit an RBI single scoring Anthony Koehl and Patrick Koehl advances to second on a passed ball. Philip Schaefer follows with an RBI single scoring Patrick and also stealing second base. With two outs Taylor Holleman was walked by the pitcher to load the bases for Ross Ascheman's at bat. Ascheman had and RBI walk which won the game for the Owls 5-4.

Taylor Holleman pitched all four innings picking up his second win of the year. Offensively Patrick Koehl, Philip Schaefer, Taylor Holleman, Brendan Jensen, Jerrid Jepma and Anthony Koehl led the Owls with one hit a piece.

Offensively the Owls got their bats going early in game two. After the first inning the game was scoreless. In the top of the second inning the Owls rally for 14 big runs giving them a lead of 14-0 at the end of the second. In the top of the third the Owls score four more runs giving them the lead of 18-0. Hillcrest came back in the final inning scoring one run with Hancock winning with a final score of 18-1 and improving to 7-0 on the year.

Defensively, there were a couple of big double plays turned by the Owls. Philip Schaefer pitched two innings, Anthony Koehl and Justin Miller each pitched one inning with all three throwing a no-hitter. Offensively, Philip Schaefer led the Owls with three hits and five RBIs. Also contributing offensively was Jerid Berning and Brendan Jensen with two hits each. Austin Anderson also contributed with three big RBIs.
