Hancock Library News

The Hancock Library is pleased to announce that it is now your newest "wireless hot spot". We now have WiFi here at the library.

Being able to connect to the Internet in public hot spots is extremely convenient and any user within 100 feet or so of the access point can then connect to the Internet. This also makes it possible to bring your laptop to the library to use or hold a public meeting in the community room where people need Internet access. Just one more convenience for the Hancock community.

Also, what a great opportunity we have. Three library board members who will be done this year after over nine years of service. They have been such a great help to me but Minnesota law prevents them from serving another year without a year off in between. These great and faithful board members are Della Conroy, Tawnia Jepma and Peg Cunningham. Please consider serving on the library board. It is so easy. Probably the easiest board you could ever serve on, one meeting per year. If you don't call me I might be calling you, so please consider this.

Have a great Labor Day weekend!!

See ya at the Library!
