Hancock Volleyball team loses to Wheaton
The Owl girls' volleyball team traveled to Wheaton on Thursday, Oct. 4. They played against the Warriors for the second time this season and lost in three matches, 20-25, 23-25 and 19-25. The Owls were very excited to play the Warriors another time. They played an outstanding three set match, and for the second and third sets, they held the lead for most of the game.
"We just could not hold on to that lead and finish," said Coach Thielke, "The girls played so well. They have improved so much since the last time we played Wheaton. Over all it was a great team effort, everyone contributed, we just need to finish and get things done."
