Hancock volleyball team plays Wheaton Herman Norcross
The Owl girl's volleyball team came out ready to play against Wheaton-Herman-Norcross on Sept. 18. They played very well with the Warriors the first set, but the second set started to get rocky. WHN just got a head start and the Owls could not catch up. It seemed like they just got into another one of their funks, and just could not shake it.
The third set was a much better game. The girls were playing hard and diving for balls, and even some key blocks that went in their favor.
"I told the girls after the game in the locker room," said Coach Tara Thielke, "this game is now in the past, we cannot change how we played, and we can not hang our heads about it. We have so many more games to prepare for. We need to prepare, not for what other teams will be doing, but what we will be doing."
