Bree Holleman reached 2,000 points in her career as the senior netted 24 points to help Hancock beat Henning 76-43 in a non-conference girls' basketball game Tuesday.
Holleman entered the game with 1,979 career points and went into halftime needing only six points to reach the milestone.
She opened the second half by making two free throws and a three-pointer before scoring her 2,000th and 2,001st career points on a left-handed layup with 12:48 on the clock.
The game was stopped and Holleman was presented a ball with her picture on it commemorating her achievement.
Holleman now has 2,003 career points, 51 shy of the all-time mark set by former Hancock player Courtney Brewer, who graduated in 2003.
