Holzheimer breaks 3-point record, Tigers defeat Cowboys 48-43
Katie Holzheimer broke the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta career record for three-point field goals and the Tigers defeated Breckenridge 48-43 on Saturday.
Holzheimer entered the game tied for the career mark with 109 and she hit three of the Tigers’ four treys. “
We had balanced scoring,” said coach Dale Henrich. “The game was tight all the way through and we hit some key shots. Becca Holland hit four big free throws to ice the win.”
