Holzheimer has 109 career three-pointers after hitting three against the Thunder Hawks. The senior guard is tied with former Tiger Allison Donovan, who set the mark in 2000.

Holzheimer led the Tigers with 13 points and she also had six rebounds. The Tigers’ Beth Holland had 12 points and MaKenzie Smith had 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds.

It was a very satisfying game to win, as all players joined in the winning effort,” said coach Dale Henrich. “The Tigers’ defense played well again collecting 24 defensive rebounds and stealing the ball nine times. We made good decisions with the ball, scoring 14 assists and limiting our turnovers to 14.”

Montevideo’s Tia Diggins and Ashley Hoehne both scored nine points, but the T-Hawks managed just 11 second-half points against a tough Tiger defense.
