Homecoming royalty crowned at MAHS
The 2009 Homecoming coronation was held Monday evening at Morris Area. Mary Rentz was crowned queen and Wade Backman was named king. The new royalty was crowned by 2008 king Josh Love and queen Fallon Meixel.
The ninth grade football team performed the traditional "I'm a Little Teapot." The Accapella choir sang the National Anthem and "Be True to Your School." Coaches Jerry Witt and Caleb Greene made remarks on the fall athletic season.
The crown bearers are Jackson Loge and Grace Mortenson.
Freshmen attendants are Dalton Pieske, McKenzie Van Batavia, Hailey Kotts, and Tanner Picht.
Sophomore attendants are Riley Arndt, Holly Amundson, Olivia Reimers, and Tyler Moser.
Junior attendants are Eric Wulf, Dani Schultz, Haley Henrichs, and Micah Fehr.
Senior candidates are Tanner Rohloff, Brooke Anderson, Stefan Lemke, Jessica Daly, Missy Ascheman, Alex Lorenz, Taylor Swenson, Lincoln Arnold, Sarah Matthews-Saugstad, and Corey Nohl.
