The Irondale Marching Knights involve more than 110 members and represents Mounds View Independent School District #621. Irondale High School serves the communities of Arden Hills, Mounds View, New Brighton, and Shoreview. The Marching Knights strive for excellence in music and marching through hard work, dedication, and the pursuit of quality performance. This outstanding, competitive performance group also provides opportunities for members to develop leadership, teamwork, interpersonal growth, goal setting, time management, and self-discipline.

The Marching Knights are a competitive field show band. They compete in Minnesota, Iowa, and the Super Regional competition in St. Louis, Mo., where last year's show "The Seven Deadly Sins" won their class and took outstanding visual and general effect honors.

Each summer the marching band "gets out of town" for a week to focus on learning and refining the competitive field show we present in the fall. You're invited to come and see the Marching Knights in action Friday night, July 29, 2011, 8:30 PM at Big Cat Stadium on campus at the University of Minnesota, Morris.
