Kolden, Zosel finish 1-2 at Madison Country Club

Medalist Jordan Kolden and Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta teammate Jacob Zosel finished 1-2 Friday, May 18 in a West Central Conference South golf meet at the Madison Country Club.

Zach Giese shot a 42 and Andrew Rentz carded a 47 to put the Tigers in third place with a score of 164.

Briar Peterson, in his first varsity outing, posted a 53. Cody Beyer shot 57.

Montevideo won its third straight West Central South meet of the season by edging Benson/K-M-S by one stroke on the ThunderHawks' home course.

The win gives Montevideo a one-point lead over Benson/K-M-S in the conference standings.
