Late rally shuts down Storm boys 6-3 at Windom

The score was tied in all three periods before Windom recorded three straight in the final five minutes to win 6-3 over Morris Benson Area Saturday.


Mac Beyer tied it up late in the first with an assist from Kelly Engquist.

Engquist put the Storm up 2-1 on assists from Beyer and Chad Schwarz in the second.

In the third period Darion Helberg tied it 3-3 with an assist from Luke Schwarz.

The Storm actually out shot Windom 41-33. Paden Strutz had 27 saves for the Storm. The Windom goalie stopped 38 shots.
