LaVonne Day was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Lester and Charlotte (Carlson) Elloitt. LaVonne was joined in marriage to David W. Day on October 1, 1949.
LaVonne's greatest wish was fulfilled by becoming a wife and the mother of four wonderful children. She was not someone that had one or two favorite things, LaVonne enjoyed being part of everything, and she simply loved life with her family. Every grandchild was the 'most beautiful baby' she had ever seen, and every child's accomplishment was the best ever! As a mom and grandma, she was known for her unwavering support for her family. She loved being in the middle of everything and will be missed by all who knew her.
LaVonne is survived by her husband David W. Day of Morris, her children: Charlene of Duluth, David E (Vicki) of Morris, Michael (Robin) Day of Howard Lake, and Kevin Day of Morris; sibling Richard (Alice) Elliott of Annandale; sister-in-law Sue (Donald) Elloitt of Coon Rapids; grandchildren Krislene (Dan) Pollema, Jeff (Kari) Patton, Kathryn (Troy) Mausolf, Jeremiah (Elisa) Day, Brianna and Hunter Day, and Madelyn, Miranda and Lillyan Day; great grandchildren; Rachel and Ashley Pollema, Kelsey and Jacob Patton and Elizebeth Day.
LaVonne was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law, one brother Donald Elliott, son-in-law Jerald Long and one grandson David F. Day.
