Osakis picked up an unearned run in the top of the first, but Post 29 came back with five of their own in the bottom half. Hansen and Ryan Beyer hit one-out singles before Riley unloaded his first home run. After another out was recorded, Brady Valnes hit a solo home run of his own. Tanner Picht singled, stole second, and scored on an error for the final run of the inning.

Post 29 answered with three more in their half of the frame, making the score 9-4. Valnes walked and Picht singled to start the inning. Mitch Kill then lined a single to right center, but Picht strayed too far off of second and was thrown out for the first out of the inning.

Beyer drove in Bahr with a single and Riley followed with his second three-run home run of the game. Cole Riley walked and Valnes reached on an error before Aaron Vold walked to load the bases. C.
