Letter: Fair Board’s memory must be short
I would like to publicly thank all of the Fair Board members.
I am sure that it was a unanimous decision to put a fence up to close off half of the beer garden and to not allow the Legion family to sell beer into the Grandstand.
When the Grandstand was built, the Legion, VFW and the AgSociety all took part in funding the construction. Since then, the Fair Board has had no problem asking for money to help build little projects. Most recent being a fence, and the purchase of a tractor, to which the Legion club donated $5,000.
The Fair Board’s memory must be short, but I can guarantee the Legion family’s will not be in the future.
Again, thank you to each and every one of the Fair Board members.
