Ethan Ratliff-Crain scored the Storm's goal in the first period to tie the game at 1-1. Luke Schwarz and Kelly Engquist picked up assists.

But Northern Lakes' second period goal gave the Lightning all they needed for the win.

Alex Sinclair had 31 saves in the Morris Benson Area goal.

The Storm will be back on the road Thursday at Marshall and Saturday at Worthington for a pair of Southwest Conference games.

The Storm are 4-1 in the conference and 5-8 overall.
