Lone second-half goal leads Pipers past Cougars
The University of Minnesota, Morris women's soccer team lost a hard fought 1-0 game with visiting Hamline Saturday at Cougar Field.
The two teams played to a scoreless tie in the first half, but despite the score the Piper offense managed to keep Cougar goalkeeper Emily Jacob busy. After facing a barrage of shots from St. Ben's in the season opener Wednesday, Sept. 1, Jacob had to fend off 12 shots from Hamline in the first half.
