Longcrow sentenced to more than 7 years (April 2009)

A man who pled guilty to first-degree assault for an October 2008 stabbing in Morris was sentenced to more than seven years in prison on Thursday.

John Lewis Longcrow, 25, was sentenced in Stevens County District Court by Judge Peter Hoff.

Longcrow's 86-month sentence was executed and he also was fined $1,000 and required to pay restitution, which has not been certified, according to Stevens County Attorney Charles Glasrud.
