The Morris City Council at its Tuesday nights meeting approved the sale of the site of the old water tower to Stevens Community Medical Center. The site will be used for the SCMC Hospice Courage Cottage. The City approved selling the land for $10,000, but donated $5,000 of the sale price to the project, making the actual cost to SCMC $5,000.
