Lorna Hahn, age 79, passed away at McKenna Crossing in Prior Lake on
April 16, 2014. Lorna was born in Willmar, MN, on Oct. 3, 1934, the daughter of Raymond and Anna (Douma) Chapman. On May 6, 1952, she married her high school sweetheart Gene Hahn, in Herman, MN. Lorna worked for Northwestern
Bell and retired after 34 years. A longtime resident of Shakopee, MN, her retirement years were spent between summers in Big Lake, MN and winters in Apache Junction, AZ. Lorna enjoyed golfing, painting, needle work, playing the organ and singing, church activities, crossword puzzles and reading.
Survivors include her loving sons, Terry (Kathy) of Prior Lake, Roger (Annalisa) of Mountain Center, CA; grandsons, Rob (Marlene), Mike (Laurie), Tim (Sarah),
Andrew (Courtney); eight great-grandchildren, Shelby, Layla, Brody, Cadence, Theo, Oliver, Bailey, Felicity; brother and sisters, Mavis (Ted) Muller, Sheldon (Carol) Chapman, Sharilyn King, LeEtta (Dave) VanOrt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene (2012); parents, Ray and Anna Chapman.
Memorial Service was Monday, April 21, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church, 3611 North Berens Road NW, in Prior Lake, MN. Officiating was the Reverend Mike Carlson. Honorary urn bearers were Lornas grandsons, Rob Hahn, Mike Hahn, Tim Hahn, Andrew Hahn. Private Interment Valley Cemetery, Shakopee. Her family received relatives and friends Monday, April 21, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church.
