"The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940," the Morris Area High School's spring theatre production, will play for three days this week.
Cast members include (front, left to right in the accompanying photo) Thomas McPhee, Thomas Roberts, Ray Finzel, Taylor Kramer, (back) Otto Kildegaard, LauraLou Delehanty, Kelsey Mitteness, Ashley Karst, Kelly Mahoney, and Jen Buchanan.
The mystery-comedy contains a wealth of '40s references that older audience members will appreciate, and the storyline and comedic elements should keep younger audience members entertained, said director Katie Carlson.
"It's like 'Clue,' where all the characters have motives and you try to figure out who the murderer is, so it should be a lot of fun for the audience," said Carlson, a University of Minnesota, Morris senior who is directing the play for her senior project.
"The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940" will be performed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 30 to May 2 in the Morris Area High School Auditorium. Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. all three nights.
