Man killed in rollover accident near Richwood

RICHWOOD, Minn. – A man is dead after he apparently was ejected from an SUV in a rollover accident just east of Richwood, the Becker County Sheriff’s Office reported.

At about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, a passer-by reported a vehicle that was rolled over on County Highway 34 just east of Richwood, or about 12 miles north of Detroit Lakes.

Officers arrived and found a rolled SUV and a deceased male who appeared to have been ejected from the vehicle, Sheriff Tim Gordon stated in a news release. The man’s name was being withheld pending notification of family, the release stated.

At approximately 4:45 a.m. Thursday, the Morris Fire Department, Stevens County Ambulance, the Morris Police Department, and the Stevens County Sheriff's Office responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Highway 59, one mile south of County Road 22.
