Mark Donald Tomlinson died Sept. 11, 2008 at home after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Memorial services will be at La Casa de Cristo Church in Scottsdale, Arizona on Sept. 16.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245, in lieu of flowers. Mark was born in 1956 in Minnesota. Members of the immediate family lived in Morris through the mid-1990s, and his mother, Olive, taught third grade in Morris for more than 20 years. Mark's aunt, Margie Tomlinson, and his cousin, Brad Tomlinson, reside in Morris.

Mark graduated from Morris High School in 1975. He attended the University of Minnesota for his first two years of college and then transferred to Arizona State University. He spent his career in the trust, estate and investment planning industry. Mark worked the past 20 plus years for Citigroup/Smith Barney in Scottsdale and was a Vice President serving several states and the needs of those clients.

He was an avid Minnesota Twins fan and loved to coach his kids in many sports as well as involving himself in many of their school and church activities. Mark was a man of faith and he and his family attended both Shepherd of the Desert and La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Churches in Scottsdale.

Mark and his family loved to travel and family vacations were a priority. Time was spent in Hawaii, Mexico, Disneyland and a number of our National Parks. Mark loved to spend time in the outdoors, especially in his beloved state of Minnesota.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Pam; three daughters, Emily, Claire and Laurel and one son, Jake. Additionally, he is survived by three sisters Robin Tomlinson, Susan Snow, and Kim Johnson and two brothers John Tomlinson and Kris Tomlinson.
