Metz-Larson

Robert and Suzanne Metz of Hazelhurst, Wis., announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Metz, to Simon Larson. Simon is the son of William and Susan Larson of Bemidji.
The couple began their work as chemical engineers on the same day at Zimpro in Rothschild, Wis. Andrea works in research and development, and Simon is a process engineer, designing global industrial wastewater treatment systems.
Both received their bachelor degrees in chemical engineering in 2008. Simon graduated from Cass Lake-Bena High School and then the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Andrea graduated from Marathon High School and then Michigan Technological University.
The wedding will be Oct. 6 in Wausau, Wis., followed by a celebration with family and close friends.
