Minnesota State Patrol urges cautious driving on slippery roads
DETROIT LAKES -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota State Patrol advise drivers to slow down in west central Minnesota. Wind and light snow are creating slippery spots.
As of 4:30 p.m., troopers in northwest and west central Minnesota have responded to 33 crashes, including 13 rollovers, and 61 vehicles that have slid off the road and required tow assistance. There have been eight injuries total, but all were non-life threatening.
