Morris Area falls to Monte on the road
Despite ripping four doubles Tuesday, the Morris Area baseball team had only four total hits in an 8-2 loss to Montevideo. Although scheduled to play at home, the Tigers were on the road because last week's snow had not yet melted from Chizek Field.
Cam Vien pitched six strong innings, hit a two-run homer, and had three RBI to lead the Thunder Hawks.
"The Tigers couldn't muster much hitting," said coach Lyle Rambow.
