Morris Area Tigers host meet

Morris Area hosted a West Central Conference South golf meet Monday at the Pomme de Terre Golf Club. Wednesday the team played at the Olivia Golf Course.

The Tigers posted a 240 for sixth place at Morris.

Minnewaska Area won its fourth conference meet carding a 159 with all five golfers taking the top five spots.

Both BOLD and Benson/Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg carded a 203, but BOLD took third with a higher fifth score.

For the Tigers Keli Pry posted a 53. Amy Rudstrom carded a 60. Cassidy Hennen had a 62. Pam Sax carded a 65.

The individual medalist at the meet was the Lakers' Sarah Roering.

Wednesday the Tigers came in sixth posting a 231.

Minnewaska Area won its fifth straight conference meet with a 150. Benson/K-M-S took second with a 196.

For the Tigers Pry posted a 49, Sax carded a 57, Emma Roberts had a 60, and both Rudstrom and Hennen posted a 65.

The high score of the meet was carded by Laker Courtney Boe with a 36. The Lakers had the top five individual scores.
