Morris City Council preview: Public hearing for East side improvement project assessments

MORRIS - The Morris City Council will hold a public hearing regarding assessments for an improvement project on east 8th Street, 9th Street and Arizona Avenue at their meeting at 5:15 p.m. tonight in the city council chamber.

After the hearing, the council is scheduled to vote on a resolution adopting the assessments.

The council is also scheduled to set a public hearing regarding the new zoning map for the city, which received a first reading at the council's last meeting.

The council will also give a first reading to a new ordinance, No. 90, which repeals a prior ordinance regulating the use of golf carts.
