Morris digs out after season's first snow storm

Email

Morris residents and business owners were still digging out Monday morning after a weekend snowstorm hit Minnesota.

Around seven inches of snow fell in Morris.

Other communities in West Central Minnesota saw over a foot of the white stuff. Sacred Heart measured 17.3 inches, while Willmar recorded 13.3.

The four inches recorded Sunday at the West Central Research and Outreach Center tied the record snow fall for Dec. 9 in Morris.
