MORRIS – On Monday, July 30, the Morris Fire Department practiced propane emergency training with instructor Shawn Baily.

Firefighters practiced using two fog patterns to slowly advance to the tank and shut off the gas valve. There were two back up charged lines on each side of the LP tank. Firefighters also practiced cooling the tank when the relief valve would open.

The training was a good hands on experience for everyone, said Morris Fire Chief Dave Dybdal.
