Morris is host to Greg Schwartz Wrestling Camp

Athletes from 17 schools in Minnesota attended the 17th annual Greg Schwartz Memorial Wrestling Camp in Morris June 23-26.

Hosted by Spencer Yohe and Mick Rose, many area high school coaches, including the Tigers' Shane Tappe, helped organize the camp. Clinicians included several collegiate champions. Former local prep wrestlers served as counselors.

Wrestlers in grades 5-12 attended motivational sessions, learned technique from the clinicians, and participated in takedown tournaments.

Wrestling programs represented include Morris Area/Hancock, New London-Spicer, West Central Area, Minnewaska Area, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, Montevideo, Paynesville, Murray County Central, Meadow Creek, ROCORI, Delano, Chaska, Nicollet, Richfield, Aitkin, Albany, and Caladonia/Houston.
