The Morris Legion team came from behind to defeat Chokio 3-2 in extra innings Friday at Chizek Field.
On a 3-2 count with the bases loaded and two outs in the eighth inning, Darrick Henrichs hit a ground ball to short stop that he beat out by sliding head first into first base.
The play allowed Jon Jallo and Mikey Siegel to score the tying and go-ahead runs.
Nate Gades got the win after striking out 13 and allowing only three hits and two walks and giving up just one earned run in eight innings.
Matt Wohlers was 2-for-4 with a double and Tanner Berning recorded a triple to help the Morris offense.
