Morris traveled to Detroit Lakes Tuesday and lost the first game of the season 13-4 at Washington Ballpark.

Morris used some aggressive batting at the plate to jump out to a 3-0 lead, before Max Bentley's three-run blast over centerfield tied it up in the second inning.

The Laker team went on to score four in the sixth and five in the bottom of the eighth.

Morris had three hits in the first two innings, but could only get two more hits for the remainder of the game.

The Lakers finished with nine hits and 11 total RBIs.
