The event will include live music, hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction and - new for this year - a bar contest where attendees will taste test and vote for their favorite bar cookie. Members and non-members of the PRCA are invited to the event.

The silent auction will feature fun and useful items such as a night at the Prairie Inn, pottery by local artists, a half-hour of vocal entertainment, a poem for your special occasion, original artwork and jewelry, rosemalling, dance lessons, toys, homemade food items and more.

One special auction item will be a visit from PRCA intern Kali Dale to build a snowman in the winner's front yard. Some of the silent auction items are on display in the PRCA Gallery windows.

The Prairie Renaissance Cultural Alliance (PRCA) has been in Morris since it was initiated in 1999 as a grassroots community development project devoted to promoting the arts and culture of West Central Minnesota. As a non-profit organization, the PRCA derives its income from grants, sales of art work, memberships, and fundraising.

Gallery hours are Tuesday - Friday, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
