Morris Police investigating attempted armed robbery at Prairie Inn

MORRIS, Minn. -- The Morris Police Department is seeking information about an attempted armed robbery at the Best Northland Prairie Inn at about 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 17.

At approximately 5:05 a.m. Saturday, the police received a report of an attempted armed robbery. According to the police, the suspect reportedly entered the Prairie Inn and approached the employee at the front desk with a gun. The robbery was interrupted by an individual entering the lobby of the hotel before the suspect was able to take any property.

The suspect is described as a male, about 5' 11" tall, with a heavyset build wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing.
