Morris superintendent one of two finalists for principal of Detroit Lakes High School
DETROIT LAKES -- Morris Area School District Superintendent Scott Monson was one of two finalists interviewed for the position of Detroit Lakes High School principal, the Detroit Lakes Tribune reported Wednesday.
A total of seven candidates were interviewed for the position over the past two weeks, Superintendent Doug Froke told the Tribune.
Monson was chosen as a finalist Wednesday. The other finalist is Darren Wolf, currently serving as assistant principal at Rogers High School in the Elk River School District.
Wolf completed a more in-depth interview on Thursday morning. Monson was interviewed on Friday morning.
Froke said the seven semi-finalists were interviewed by a small committee of teachers and administrators, for about an hour each.
