National Weather Service issues WIND CHILL WARNING through Tuesday morning

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Warning, which is in effect from 6:00 p.m. Sunday to 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

...DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY...

.ANOTHER SURGE OF COLD AIR WILL BUILD INTO THE AREA THIS

EVENING...WITH LOW TEMPERATURES DROPPING TO 18 TO 25 BELOW ACROSS

CENTRAL MINNESOTA...AND 10 TO 18 BELOW IN WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN

AND SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THE COLD TEMPERATURES WILL COMBINE

WITH A NORTHWEST WIND OF 10 TO 15 MPH TO CREATE WIND CHILLS OF 35

TO 45 BELOW ZERO ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA...AND

BETWEEN 25 AND 35 BELOW ACROSS WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN THROUGH

MONDAY MORNING.

ONLY A SLIGHT MODERATION OF TEMPERATURES IS EXPECTED DURING THE

DAY MONDAY WITH HIGHS EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 3 BELOW TO 11 BELOW.

ANOTHER VERY COLD NIGHT IS ANTICIPATED MONDAY NIGHT WITH LOWS OF

12 TO 28 BELOW. WINDS WILL BE SLIGHTLY LIGHTER...BUT STILL STRONG

ENOUGH TO CREATE WIND CHILLS BETWEEN 35 AND 40 BELOW ACROSS WEST

CENTRAL AND CENTRAL MINNESOTA AND 25 TO 35 BELOW ACROSS SOUTHERN

AND EASTERN MINNESOTA INTO WESTERN WISCONSIN INTO TUESDAY MORNING
